Team U.S. Prayer Update #6 - August 6, 2008 Print E-mail

Update from Ron Hutchcraft with Team U.S.

You've prayed.  You've gotten others to pray.  You may have given to send an On Eagles' Wings warrior.  You need to know what God has done through Team U.S...

477 Native American young people have given their hearts to Jesus Christ!

And there's more.  Starting with the story of the team's final reservation before reaching out at the largest Native youth event on the continent...

No Gospel witness.  At best, a handful who know Christ.
And a community ripped by gangs and violence.

That's the tragedy of the "Panther Point" reservation - the final stop for Team U. S. in the Summer of Hope 2008.  Clearly, the enemy does not plan to relinquish his hold on this hurting place.  He's been able to keep the Light out for a long time.  And On Eagles' Wings is all about that Light.

Update from Team Canada

OEW goes Urban...

Since making a commitment to Canada four years ago, most of our outreaches have been in isolated First Nations communities, some of which are incredibly challenging to get to. We're known for going to the hard-to-get-to places. But for now, our team's sights are set on an urban community of 50,000 people where close to 5,000 First Nations people call home.

Team U.S. Prayer Update #5 - August 1, 2008 Print E-mail

Update from Ron Hutchcraft with Team U.S.

We were about to face some of the hardest hearts of this Summer of Hope.  And some awesome answers to prayer.

The challenges were evident as a local Christian leader briefed our team on our fifth reservation, Rocky Ridge.  He told us about the local religions that regularly summon the spirit world – including, in some cases, animal spirits that possess them.

Team U.S. Prayer Update #4 - July 30, 2008 Print E-mail

Update from Ron Hutchcraft with Team U.S.

It was a promise that was about to become a prophecy.  Little could our team know the battle they were about to face on our final night at the "Black Rock" Reservation.  Team U.S. had only two nights on this fourth reservation - so we were trusting God for an accelerated work.
