"We Will Tell The Next Generation!"

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus...Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. - 2 Timothy 2:1-3

Here are some quick highlights from Day #3 of WLS. Thank you for your continued interest in following the events of this life-changing conference for hundreds of young Native American believers.

The morning session was highlighted by a challenge from Bobby Dean, a highly respected Native Christian Pastor and leader from New York state. Bobby presented a message entitled, "On Assignment from Heaven." He shared that God has uniquely positioned every believer for the "rescuing of many lives." Because "we are Christ's Ambassadors," God has positioned us to represent Him at our school, in our community, to our friends, on our reservation. Many warriors were challenged to more effectively represent Jesus, and to "take their friends to heaven with them."

Warrior Leadership Summit is now in progress! Every year, it's exciting to see the buses and vans roll in from all across North America! This year, they came from New York, Arizona, South Dakota, Idaho, Minnesota, Canada, and more!

There was excitement and anticipation for this opening day. The Native young people who attend this event are not identified as "attendees," and certainly not "campers." No, they are Warriors!

Read More These travel-weary warriors were excited to connect with hundreds of other young Native Americans. For many, it has been a hard year spiritually, seeking to live for Jesus with very little support structure back home. Now, for one brief week, these warriors can experience the direct support of hundreds of brothers and sisters in Christ. They are ready and open for God to refresh, renew, and restore.
